I've lost my 40th pound today. I'm not the lowest weight I've been since my sophomore year of HS. My goal is to lose 50-60 more.
I've started a new challenge for myself. I love Paris more than anywhere I've been in the world, and I've been wanting to go back for some time. I've decided that I'm going to go back when I'm able to climb the Eiffel Tower. Now, they don't let you climb all the way up, but it's still a pretty good hike, especially for someone that had trouble with three flights of stairs under a year ago. It is 328 steps to the first level, and then 348 to the second, but I will allow myself a break in the middle. Right now I am do about 230 somewhat comfortably. After my aerobic workout, I've been walking up the steps from the fitness center of my building (6th floor) to my floor (17th), to train. My legs are very strong from carrying around a lot of weight for so long, so they don't tire out easily, especially since I have less weight to carry now.
I hoping to be at a place that I can do 400 comfortably within a year.
In other news, I've been dating a woman, and couldn't be happier.
Chicago truly does agree with me much better than Peoria, but I still want to move to a coast.

Unfortunatly, being a libertarian puts you into the Republican camp. Oh well I've been having a superfun time in Paris so far, however, I'm bored out of my mind. My class went till 8:30PM and by that time all my friends had gone out. So I try to go out at 9pm, and nothing is open on Sunday evenings (well I should qualify, no where I'd consider entering into at anytime). Nothing like a nice new suit to make a man confident for interviews. My Macbook Pro is broken. :(. The power brick got so hot it melted the rubber coating on the power cord and burned through the wire and it no longer charges. Because of labor day weekend, it'll be until Wednesday when I get a new powerbrick. Right now I am on my parents extra dell laptop, and I can't hardly stand it. It's impossible to get anything done easily or quickly on this POS. I can't even update my blog on my website without my iWeb. I just bought my first serious TV: A new Samsung 46" DLP. I should explain my old TV (a 27" Samsung HDTV) just took a crap on me Sunday night when I had 6 people over to watch a movie. I was a bit embarrased. I'm so excited, but at the same time, it's sad to see 1800 gone from my bank account :) For some reason, I can go to sleep at 11ish, get up at 7:30ish, and still be tired... and halarious This journal is friends only.
